For our lab activity yesterday, we were tasked with playing around with external scripts to make our websites more interactive. I worked on my subdomain, author.ayeperez.online, which you can see open on my screen. We had to explore sites like mf2fm.com and use classic DynamicDrive codes to add fun, aesthetic features to our pages. It required a lot of focus to edit the HTML and PHP files properly without breaking anything, but integrating those external scripts was actually pretty cool.
Looking at, the simple layout with my photo and the “Enter My Website” button is really starting to come alive with these new features. It’s satisfying to see the code work after tweaking it in the editor. This lab was a great reminder of how much a few simple scripts can change the whole vibe of a webpage, and I’m glad I got everything running smoothly on my subdomain!
